The R&R Pages

Hi, these are 'scratch' pages for putting up misc informal subjects as time goes by.  If a link doesn't work, it's 'cause I haven't gotten around to doing that page yet.  Use your browser's "back" button to return here.     last update 1/12/2000

Large File Warning:  Most of these pages contain either large picture files or many picture files, or both.  If you have a slow connection, they might take a fair bit of time to load.

Full Size Jeeps, the Wonder Vehicles!  Ours is a 1986 Jeep J20 3/4-ton truck, with a Dana-60 rear, Dana-44 front, and the 8,400 lb GVW option.  Ours has a snowplow up front and a hydraulic-hoist dumptruck box on back.  It's a very handy truck...  We call it "Big Red" or "the Red Beast".    Our other Jeep is a '95 ZJ, which has been a great truck for us too, but that's a whole different animal...

Big Red, our hardworking J20.    Needs a bath...

This is WHY Big Red needs a bath...   Our "driveway"...ha ha ha....

Original Sales Brochure Pics....tough-looking J20 at work!
1986 J-Truck Specs....a scan of the back page of original factory brochure.  500k file...
1986 FSJ Price List....a scan of the complete 6pg factory price list...BIG file...

ZJ, Jeep Grand Cherokee, 1995....the best of the ZJ years I think.  New enough to have disc brakes all around and ABS, but old enough not to have all the recent Chrysler quality problems.  Ours has the Upcountry package, tow package, BFG AT's 30x9.50x15, and has been an absolutely wonderful camping truck.  It's been from Arizona to Vancouver Island....California to Maine.  75k miles total now....over 15K on dirt....and about 2,500 in 4-lo!  Great truck.
